Dr. Janet Haas is the CEO and principal consulting epidemiologist at Innovative Infection Prevention (www.innovativeinfectionprevention.com).

She earned a PhD in Nursing from Columbia University, a MS in Epidemiology from the University at Albany, NY and her BSN from the Sage Colleges in Albany, NY.

Dr. Haas has over 20 years’ experience in Infection Prevention and Control, including leadership of Epidemiology departments in multiple hospitals. She proudly served as the 2018 president of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), and is an associate editor for the American Journal of Infection Control (AJIC). She has a passion for research and innovation, is widely published and lectures throughout the US and internationally.
